ABOUT US
Our family-run equestrian centre is situated in South Bohemia, just a short distance from the historical city of Cesky Krumlov. Established in 1993 as a farm and stables, the venue has grown into a regular host of sporting events. Since hosting our first eventing competition in 2009, Borova has become a traditional venue for annual eventing, show jumping, and dressage shows.
Meet the Team
The venue is a family-run establishment built with passion by founders Marcela and Vlastimil Kamir. Together with Tereza, Barbora, and Ondrej Kamir, the family ensures smooth operations and a welcoming atmosphere during all events.
Location and Amenities
Set in a picturesque valley near a historical town, the venue offers a perfect blend of sport and nature. Essential amenities, including shops and hotels, are just a few km away, with full services available within 13 km. During events, our on-site restaurant provides full-day catering, offering everything from breakfast to dinner and drinks (cash payments only).
Top-Class Facilities
Our cross-country course takes full advantage of the undulating terrain, featuring two water complexes and over 140 obstacles suitable for levels ranging from ponies to 3-star competitions. Riders can expect premium footing across all arenas: Main Arena: 50 x 85 m (Sand & Textile) Outdoor Warm-up: 38 x 70 m (Sand & Textile) Indoor Arena: 44 x 24 m (Sand & Textile) Grass Dressage Arena: 65 x 24 m Lunging & Grazing: 2 hectares of open space
Stabling and Logistics
Comfortable outdoor and indoor stabling is available with standard 3 x 3 m tournament boxes and convenient water access. The layout is designed for logistics efficiency: the main arena is a short 300 m walk from the stables, while the cross-country warm-up is situated 700 m away. Large parking areas for trucks and lorries are located adjacent to the stables, complete with electrical hook-ups.
